My name is Buddy. I am 3 years old. I was rescued from a remote community in Northern Quebec in Canada where dogs roam the communities. I was at risk of losing my life as I was very rambunctious and difficult to control. I was not a bad dog, just misunderstood and in need of direction. I was brought to a rescue where I was fostered in a home to await adoption. I had trouble finding a home because families found me too excitable. My foster family recognized my good qualities and decided to adopt me! I have flourished in my new home. With basic training and a lot of patience and exercise, I was finally understood!  I love life and live each day to the fullest. I am super ball crazy so my parents bought me a ball launcher to help give their shoulders a rest. A video was posted of me doing what I love, and it has gone viral with more than 85 million views worldwide. I was even on TV on Good Morning America! The reason? I bring happiness and smiles to people in an otherwise serious, gloomy world. My quest in life is to be an ambassador for rescue dogs everywhere, and to teach people to “live in the moment” and enjoy the happiness in life. I think I have been successful. Adopt don’t shop.
