Ollie

He is now 4 years old. I was lucky enough to adopt him as a puppy after his mom and thought to be dad were abandoned in a box left in front of a local humane society. A wonderful woman took in the mom to foster and care for her as she had the puppies. The pups were born on the 4th of July. Ollie is the only rescue pet I’ve ever had where I actually know the birthday. He is very smart, loving, stubborn at times, loves his cat sister, loves people and going on adventures. He’s my road dog and I couldn’t imagine my life without him.

Lea

One of my dogs had recently passed away and I was browsing Petfinder.com just for fun. Our family already has two elderly dogs, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel (Cavin, 15 years) and a Shih Tzu (Sushi 13 years)  Since they are elderly, I didn’t want either to be alone should one of them pass away. On Petfinder.com, I found a local South Bay area rescue group, Schwartz Family Foundation, that works closely with the Toy Breed Rescue group. Continue reading “Lea”

Shea

“I rescued Shea back in June 2014, during a vacation to Florida with a friend. While we were there we came across a litter of puppies whose owner was unable to care for them. All four puppies were in pretty rough shape; their nails were so long they couldn’t even walk. But thankfully my friend’s mom was just as much of an animal lover as myself and allowed us to care for these poor babies in her home for the next few weeks. We found all of the puppies new homes — with the exception of Shea, who seemed to pick me from day one. She was the runt of the litter at barely 2 lbs, and I couldn’t let her go. Naturally, I took her back to New York and she has been living the sweet life ever since. Continue reading “Shea”

Izzy

Hi! My name is Izzy. That’s short for Isadora or what my mommy and daddy call me, ISADORABLE! I am a five month old Border Terrier and Chihuahua mix. I found my forever home in Pennsylvania after I was found under a sundeck. I was rescued, kept safe, and then my new family adopted me. They love me so, so much! And, I love them. I am so cuddly and I love to give licks. I sit on laps and snooze beside my people on the recliner. I am such a well-behaved little girl. I know how to sit and stay, plus I am already house trained. Mac

Hi! I’m Mac, a Shitzu/bichon terrier. I was found in South Los Angeles eating out of a Popeyes dumpster. I was in terrible shape and had a big dog bite on my back and had to get stitches. My parents got me from NKLA Pet Adoption Center a year and a half ago and I couldn’t be happier.

Leo

My name is Sir Leonardo, but I go by Leo. I’m almost 5 years old and I was rescued from the SPCA of Westchester when I was just a little pup. My mom wanted a dog for 21 years and she saw me giving my signature puppy eyes at the shelter – it was love at first sight! Now, I live the city life in Brooklyn, NY. My mom, Abby Login, takes me everywhere: work, playdates and she even lets me sleep in her bed. I am beyond loved and could not ask for a better life.

Reggah

Reggah (is the Doberman formally known as Klutch) joined our pack at the “old” age of 6 after spending the last 4 years in a kennel in Israel. This gentle loving giant (88 pounds of a smile) changed our lives in a moment also known as a “Reggah” in Hebrew, marked us as his and assigned himself as the protector & saviour of us from the dangers of unauthorized cats and mosquitos in the neighborhood.
